Chapter Eighty Three
Third–Person Pov
As Amber and Richard made their way into the kitchen, a sense of ease and intimacy lingered between
them. Richard, shirtless and dressed in casual shorts as requested by Amber, exuded a casual air of
comfort in his own home.
She had told him earlier that she’d love to see him walking around the kitchen with no shirt on, and since Richard couldn’t argue with her, nor did he see anything odd about her request, he had gladly
complied.
Amber, on the other hand, wore a white T–shirt belonging to Richard, the fabric soft against her skin. She had worn it with no underwear undemeath, feeling comfortable and confident enough to show off her body through the transparent white fabric.
“I don’t think we have much to eat, so I think we should just order something. I haven’t been here in
a while, and I don’t think anyone took the initiative to refill foodstuffs for us,” Richard mentioned, his brow creased in mild concern as he surveyed the kitchen..
Amber shrugged nonchalantly, a playful smile dancing on her lips. “I don’t mind if you order something, but maybe you should check first, just in case,” she suggested, her tone light.
Following her suggestion, Richard opened the kitchen cabinets, his eyes widening in surprise as he discovered them packed with an array of food supplies.
A note attached to the back of the cabinet door caught his eye; the words “What would you do without me‘ scrawled across it in familiar handwriting. With a chuckle, Richard instantly knew that his mischievous twin sister, Bianca, was the mastermind behind the well–stocked kitchen.
