Chapter 148

Westchester City’s art gallery was located in the famous Art Haven. When Sylvia arrived at one of the entrances to the gallery, she saw Simon. He was dressed in a suit. Although he was only a few years older than her, with his bushy beard and unkempt hair, he looked like a man in his forties. Sylvia got out of the car with Sherry’s help and waved at him. When Simon saw her sitting in a wheelchair, he was so shocked that he ran over. He asked curiously, “Sylvia, what happened to your legs?” 

Sylvia did not want to tell him about those bad memories, so she just said, “I accidentally broke them and suffered a slight fracture. It’s no big deal.” 

“If it’s nothing serious, then good.” Simon smiled and then said, “We’re not going in from this side. Follow me. I’ll take you in through another entrance.” 

“Sure.”
