Sylvia slept with the children until the sun came up. After they washed up and made themselves ready for the day, they went to the living room and saw Odell sitting on the couch.

He was wearing a black shirt that complemented his statue-like figure, still looking as handsome as always. She darted a glance at him and looked away.
