Sylvia took her copy, thanked the clerk, and left. “Miss, wait a minute.” The clerk suddenly called her. After he left, the clerk suddenly became much more friendly and conversational. She spoke to Sylvia with a gentle smile, “Miss, you are still young and very beautiful. You still have a whole life ahead of you. Don’t be discouraged because of a man like him. I have faith that you will find a much better husband in the future!” 

Her warm smile was infectious so Sylvia responded with a kind smile to her, “Thanks for your kind words, 1 will take good care of myself.”
