Odell took them to his study upstairs.

The study was facing the sun, so the sunlight shone through the windows and the temperature was comfortable as well.

Odell sat down on the sofa with Isabel in his arms. At the same time, he looked over at Liam.

Liam replied, “She said that you and Mommy had gotten divorced a long time ago and that she had not left us because she fought with you. Instead, she has run away with Uncle Thomas to go abroad. She also said that Mommy didn’t want us anymore and told us not to meddle in your private life.”

Odell frowned.

Seeing that he had not said a word, Isabel asked, “Baddie, what she said was false, right? She was just lying to brother and me, right?”

“There are both truths and lies in her words.”

They’re actually together in a proper way.” Odell suppressed his anger as he said this. He said while stroking Isabel’s head lightly, “Mommy wouldn’t abandon you guys. She might’ve been delayed by some issues and could not get in touch with you two in time. Daddy will find her as soon as possible and ask her to return a message to you.”
