Isabel wrote a reply with the hand that was not aching, "Yeah, I’m home."

Flint asked, "I saw Roland helping you into the car, was he the one who sent you home?"

Isabel replied, "Yeah, I asked him to drive me home."

Flint lectured her. "Sis, I know that you’re the one who hired him. But don't forget that he's still the vice president of Carter Corporation at the end of the day. He's already busy enough with work, now you're troubling him with having to send you home."

Isabel grimaced. "It's along the way anyway."

It was true, Roland lived in the high-end residential area next to hers.
