Chapter 1441

Returning to Beaconsfield had really lifted Tiffanie's spirits. For ages, she'd been reluctant to reconnect with her old friends, but recently, she found herself eager to hang out with them again. It was like a weight had been lifted.

Still, she couldn't shake this unsettling feeling that someone was tailing her. Probably just her imagination, she mused. Mason would never do something like that, and it's not like she had any enemies lurking around Beaconsfield. Especially now, when she'd promised herself to live life to its fullest, with everything finally falling into place. She was even busy decorating the villa Maxie had gifted her. She hadn't put much effort into decorating before moving in, but now it felt like the right time. Tiffanie always leaned towards a cool, edgy vibe, but she worried Mason might not be into it. After hours of chatting, it was clear Mason just wanted her to be happy, whatever style she chose.

She wanted to buy everything in sight, with Mason's credit card seemingly having no limit.

So, she dove into furniture shopping. When the delivery crew came to move her purchases in, one of the movers, wearing a cap, asked for her number to coordinate a second delivery. Without much thought, she handed it over and kept browsing through the luxury furniture store, making sure the first batch of her picks was sent home first.

Just as she was about to choose a vanity, her phone buzzed with a text.

"I never thought you'd be living it up so well after all these years."

She frowned, puzzled about who it was from, and ignored it, focusing back on the coffee table. But then her phone buzzed again with another message.

Tiffanie's heart pounded, panic clawing at her as she glanced around nervously.

"You and Victoria look similar. Honestly, when me and my brothers messed with Victoria, never thought she'd climb so high. Michael's got skills. Everyone else is gone, only I made it out."
