Mia’s suspicious gaze irritated Timothy.

He turned to face her. “Is that how you see me?”

Timothy fell silent instantly, acknowledging that he did have that intention last time. But how could he possibly admit to it now?

Mia stared at him intently. “Why aren’t you responding? Say something.”
