Unfortunately, you had a boyfriend, so all I could do was silently wish you well. Who knew your boyfriend wouldn’t appreciate you? If he doesn’t want you, I do.”

Thinking of her mom, Aurelia felt a sense of pain in her chest.

Perhaps, if she agreed to marry Leslie, Linda could help her mother.
