With lightning speed, Josefina sent the gang leader's teeth flying with a swift punch. Her foot snapped out to send the blond punk sprawling. Her right hook arced through the air, landing a vicious blow on another assailant's cheek. She was a blur of movement, each punch finding its mark.

Behind her, a man emerged from a car with a long knife, slashing at Josefina's head. Josefina dodged, grabbed his wrist, and wrenched the knife from his grip. With a swift slice, she opened a gash on his arm. She stepped back, her knife swinging with precision.
