"Rosa, you can't be with him," Grant blurted out, his voice thick with anger.

"What's it to you who I'm with, Grant?" Oliver shot back, defiance dripping from his words.

Grant ignored Oliver, his gaze softening as he crouched down to meet Josefina's eyes. "Rosa, he knows who you are, and he's playing you. You're too trusting; you've been duped. Don't be with him."
