Oliver was beyond annoyed. Every question Shay threw at him was just another opportunity for humiliation.

With his gaze lowered and a tender look in his eyes, he turned to the blushing Josefina and said, "Let's get out of here."

He wrapped Josefina in his arms, holding her close as they made their exit. Shay watched them go, the pair inseparable, clinging to each other as if they couldn't stand to be apart.

And what about her? What was she in this picture? Just a jester? Her eyes filled with a desolate mixture of envy and resentment.

With a lonely twist of her body, Shay turned and slowly walked back the way she had come.

Meanwhile, safely ensconced in the privacy of their booth, Lena let out a sigh of relief. "They're gone."

In the shadowy room, a man's voice, dripping with mockery, broke the silence. "Who would've thought, Shay has a thing for Oliver."

"How did you know?" Lena asked.
