Selena knew better than to expect anything good from Margot, who always played the innocent card.

"You really don't need to ask her. She's a disgraced heiress, who's lost her husband's favor and is about to be shown the door. What could she possibly afford? The original price has already left her broke." Margot cackled, feeling full of herself. "She's not like me... My boyfriend spoils me. I can buy whatever I want."

She gave her assistant a sly wink, and the assistant handed over her wallet. Margot pulled out a black card and flashed it around for everyone to see.

Selena recognized it right away-it was Everett's supplementary card, which meant he had given one to Margot too.

Selena's heart gave a painful lurch.
