Seeing the frustration etched on Jaime's face, his fists clenched instinctively, barely holding back the urge to knock some sense into his friend. Here he was, trying to keep Everett on the straight and narrow, and what did he get? A metaphorical slap in the face. With other suitors, Selena had the freedom to choose. If she was interested, she could give it a shot; if not, no problem. But Abraham was different. Upsetting him could have unforeseen consequences.
