Once inside, he found Haley sprawled across the bed, lost in a deep sleep. Her little feet had kicked off the covers, and she lay there with an air of confidence, her dress bunched up around her tummy, showing her soft, round belly.

Everett gently placed Mateo next to her, unable to resist the charm of his daughter's cuteness. Haley looked more like her mom, although her spunky personality was all him.
