“How’s Rhett doing now?” Emmanuel asked, his expression turning grave.

With his medical skills and eyesight, he could assess Rhett’s physical condition at a glance, but mental states were much harder to discern. Besides, he wanted to talk to Anna–he could tell she had a lot on her mind.

“Commander, Rhett risked his life to save the Saintess and cover our retreat from the Five Poison Sect’s stronghold.
