Chapter 2210 Just as Blind as Me!

That afternoon, Quintus and his team arrived in Gamwell.

The journey had been smooth, and they successfully picked up the last two West End representatives.

“General Quintus, the representatives have been traveling for two days now. They must be exhausted. Why don’t we host a banquet tonight and let them rest? We can head back to Silvergate tomorrow to board the plane,” Ken suggested, stepping forward voluntarily.

Quintus had been planning to stall for time, anyway, giving Aora the opportunity to arrive. So, when he heard the suggestion, he burst into laughter. “No wonder you used to be one of Teddy’s lackeys, Mr. Willy! You catch on quickly. Not bad, you’re finally getting it!”

Ken forced a smile, though he found the term “lackey” unpleasant. Quintus, however, thought he was already being considerate by not calling him a lapdog.

“Alright, we’ll do that. We’ll feast tonight and hit the road tomorrow.” Quintus waved his hand, signaling Ken to make the arrangements.

Just as Ken turned to leave, Libby hurriedly stepped in, anxious. “Mr. Quintus, the election is in two days. If we keep delaying like this, I’m afraid things will go wrong!”

Quintus was already wary of her pestering, and hearing something he didn’t like, he immediately hardened his expression. “What would a girl like you know? Eve Thompson put you in charge of medical support, so stick to your job and stop meddling in things that aren’t your concern.”

“But, Mr. Quintus-

Before she could finish, he brushed past her and walked off.

Solana, watching Libby stomp her foot in frustration, walked over with an amused smile. “You really don’t understand Quintus at all. No matter how pretty you dress, it’s useless in front of that block of stone.”

“What? I-” Libby’s cheeks flushed instantly.

She had deliberately worn a fitting white outfit that day. Plenty of men had been drooling over her, some even joking that she looked like a nurse straight out of a Shoiyan sexual film.

But Quintus? He didn’t give her a second glance.

Solana smirked and continued, “With your looks, why waste your time on some clueless older guy? Why not go for someone handsome, rich, and younger? I bet tons of wealthy bachelors would fall head over heels for you.”

“Solana, you–stop talking nonsense!” Libby, just as flustered as when Quintus had ignored her, turned on her heel and stormed off.
