I’d done many things to hurt you in the past, but I’m not asking for your forgiveness; I just hope you are not too angry with me. I’m off now, and I won’t disturb you anymore!” With that, he turned around to leave. Still frowning, Gianna asked, “Why do you take a child’s words so seriously?” Gael merely shook his head. “It’s something even a kid knows, but I only figured it out today. Gianna remained silent and watched Gael’s disappearing figure until he was gone before she retracted her gaze.
