After avoiding returning back to reality, I had no choice but to catch the earliest flight back to attend this meeting held at the company. I had managed to hide away in my quaint apartment in Canada for almost a month before I received this email a week ago from Lucy informing me about this meeting. It was not one to be missed and neither could I attend it remotely.

This meeting was important. It determined the growth of the business and also the standing of the bet which I was still determined to emerge victorious.

It was not a meeting for investors and I had not been expecting any of the investors to be there but that was changed at the last minutes as I got in to my office to gather my things for the meeting. Lucy entered my office after knocking once on the slightly ajar door.
