A pair of silver earrings dangled elegantly, catching the light each time she moved. She adjusted her bracelet and stepped back to take in the whole picture. Satisfied, she nodded, grabbed her clutch, and turned toward her phone buzzing on the counter.

The name on the screen made her pause. Cecil.
