Izzy slowly set the tablet down.

She knew Pamella. That woman didn’t hide things. She flaunted them.

“What’s wrong?” he asked.

Izzy tapped the screen once and slid it toward him. “It looks like the Weiss family wants the Blackwell Group’s support badly. This article says Calen and Pamella are engaged. Maybe even eloped.”

Liam took one look and shrugged. “You should stop reading the news first thing in the morning. It’ll ruin your day.”

Izzy narrowed her eyes at him. She rested her elbow on the table, then leaned her face into her palm, staring.
