Barlow had passed away, and Rosalynn didn’t know if Karina would ever consider another man.

“You should go and eat, too. You don’t have to keep standing here.”

After drinking, Karina handed the tumbler back to Jack and waved at him.

“Enjoy your meal,” Jack said politely, smiling at them before leaving.

Rosalynn opened the lunch box and said casually, “Jack’s a good man.”

Karina sat down next to her and opened hers as well. “Yes. He’s very smart, and his acting skills are getting better and better. ALL that effort I spent supporting him wasn’t for nothing.”

Rosalynn took a bite of her food and glanced at her, saying nothing.

When she said that Jack was a good man, she wasn’t talking about work.
