Chapter 85 – Cute Couple

The next few days went by without a hitch. It was almost as if we had normal lives, except for the two guards that fol lowed me and my sister around everywhere. I guess it beats us being locked up in the apartment all day long, so I will take it. Tomorrow is Saturday, the day Jace will be taking us around to the festivities uptown and I’m a bit giddy about it. It’s been too long since we’ve been out as boyfriend and girlfriend, so it will be nice to be able to walk around, holding Jace’s hand like a real couple.

I’m finishing up getting ready for my shift at the bakery, when he comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist, “Good morning, beautiful.
