Spencer was awestruck.

Wow. Ms. Berry is a wonderful girlfriend to have! What a virtuous woman she is!

He decisively captured the scene.

Slightly disappointed, Chester shrugged his shoulders and extended his hand toward her. “Can we at least shake hands, then?”

Ashlyn put away the folder and rested her hand on his large, warm palm. “You're very handsome. I believe you'll have a promising future ahead of you. All right, I'll be heading up first.”

Even after Ashlyn left, Chester stood still in his place, unable to believe what he had heard.

After sneaking in, he immediately sent Lucas a WhatsApp message.

In it, he included the video he had just captured.

Entering the elevator, Ashlyn promptly pressed the floor number.

In the meantime, Lucas sat before the desk in Joseph's room, studying the evidence.

He was incredibly focused, holding a pen and making notes as he flipped through the documents.

Clad in casual clothes, Joseph was sitting beside him. A hint of nervousness tinted his expression.

Charlotte was sitting not too far away from him. She was holding a phone in her hand and taking occasional glances at the door, almost as if she was waiting for someone.

She was wearing a long pink dress. Fortunately, the room was comfortably warm, enhancing her skin's glossy sheen.

Had it been the outdoors, she probably would not have dared to dress like this.

“How is it? Do we have enough evidence?”

Joseph looked at Lucas anxiously. If we don't have sufficient evidence, then the possibility of Dad's clearing his name...

“It'll only have a minor effect. Section Six also found some evidence that needs to be compiled. However, I estimate there's only a fifty percent chance to overturn the case.”

Lucas frowned as he closed the folder. “Overturning a case is no small matter. The other party presented substantial evidence when they reported Mr. Field. The possibility of us completely overturning the case isn't very high.”
