“Bret, what are you doing?” As soon as the words leave my mouth, Monica walks in. She looks between us before she runs out of my office. Bret did not even act like he cared his mate just ran out of this office with pain all over her face. “What the hell is wrong with you?” His eyes go back to their normal color and he looks like I slapped him.
