60 It’s Time for Truth

Nicholas POV

“Nick, it’s time to get up. We need to get something to eat before training”, James says. I rub the sleep from my eyes and sit up. I haven’t slept well since I found out about Liz being my mate. “I don’t think I’m going to eat breakfast today.” “Nick, maybe you should just reject her”, James says. I feel a twinge of pain in my chest at his words. Our mates are a gift from the goddess. It’s supposed to be that moment of pure connection when we find each other.
