Debra casually steered the conversation towards the topic of married couples, and as anticipated, Leah’s expression turned somber.

“Now, somehow, the mistress becomes Miss Blair, and here I am, forced to meet them,” Debra remarked, her voice laced with disdain as she referred to Shelia.
