Grace's grandfather eventually commits suicide, and Grace loses her baby as well. In the present, Grace works as a sanitation worker and tries to escape her painful memories. However, she encounters Christopher, a man from her past, and his friends, who taunt and attempt to assault her. Grace manages to escape and runs down the street, hoping to find safety....
