"I don't know what happened to your brother, but he refused to see Ruth this time when I usually didn't allow him to." Madam Quartley complained to Tremaine, baffled by Zorion's behavior. Tremaine's eyes darkened. "I told him not to."

She quickly replied, "That won't do! It's not as good as a mother's milk. I had thought she certainly wouldn't be able to produce breast milk seeing how skinny Ruth is. But who would've thought the doctor actually said she can. In that case, the baby has to be fed his mother's milk. As for separating the two..." Madam Quartley pondered for a moment. "Yuliana can't take care of this baby; I haven't decided who yet. We'll talk about it later."

Tremaine still had something to say but decided not to after thinking about it.
