As the waitress placed the check on the table I was quick to grab it. I was curious to see how much it all cost.

"Don't even think about it". He hissed snatching it right out my hand.

"Hey". I yelled folding my arms across my chest. The waitress appeared minutes later with a card machine. I really wanted to know how much the pasta cost. "All done. I hope you both enjoy the rest of your evening"....
