I couldn't sleep yet again. The movement in the house, the voices, I just couldn't settle. He would be back soon. My body wanted sleep, my eyes sore. Today wasn't going to be a good day for me.

I was aware the rest of the house heard what happened with Jessica. Alanna texted shortly after it happened.
