The meal took almost two hours, and Kieron was in a pleasant mood. As they left the private room, he said, “Your boyfriend is an actor, and it's inevitable for actors to have intimate scenes in their work. But it's all just acting, not real at all. You should ignore them.”

Other women may not care about their boyfriends acting in intimate scenes, but it was different for her and Jerry. She would get jealous, extremely jealous.

Charlotte secretly thought that she must hurry up and earn more money.

Charlotte handed an apple to Kieron, but he waved his hand and said he wasn't interested in this holiday. “I still have things to do, and I've called someone to pick me up. You don't need to give me a ride.”

As the two left the restaurant, the car to pick up Kieron arrived just in time. Charlotte watched him get into the car.

Soon after, Charlotte got into her car. She placed the two apples on the passenger seat and took out her phone to send a voice message to Jerry.

“Jerry, when are you coming back?”

She had seen Jerry's schedule. He had been recording a variety show in Springwyn for four days and should be returning today.

Soon, Jerry replied to her message. “I'll arrive in Jadeborough around six o'clock.”

Charlotte glanced at the time on the top right corner of her phone. It was not even two o'clock, so she still had to wait another three to four hours to see her boyfriend.

It was simply unbearable.

After sending a wronged expression emoji to Jerry, Charlotte drove toward the shopping mall.

As Christmas was around the corner, the mall collaborated with various businesses to hold promotional events to attract customers. A gigantic Christmas tree that stood three meters tall, adorned with silver baubles and colorful lights, was on the first floor. Besides, a man dressed as Santa Claus made balloons for the children, creating a festive atmosphere.

Charlotte went to a men's clothing store on the upper floor and picked out a coat as a Christmas gift for Jerry.

“Ms. Benson, would you like to take your clothes with you now, or shall we deliver them to you at a scheduled time?” asked the sales assistant who had been assisting Charlotte.

Before Charlotte asked her to wrap it up, she noticed the sales assistant was wearing a red Christmas hat.
