Chapter 621

The sweet scent of roses overwhelmed Esther like a crashing wave, almost making her gag. Every thorn on those roses seemed to stab her, causing unbearable pain. Even breathing hurt.

She stood there, unable to move, locking eyes with Bradley in his wheelchair. Despite his handsome appearance, he felt as distant as the sky.

Mandy glanced at Esther and grinned slyly. Did Esther not know that Bradley wanted to marry her for the Pendletons’ sake? Regardless, Mandy reveled in Esther’s suffering, finding her happiness in their pain.
