Esther’s eyes widened in surprise. It appeared she hadn’t heard clearly. She asked in a trembling voice, “What did you say?”

Bradley gently nibbled on Esther’s ear, his voice intimate, like a lover’s. “Esther, should it be an accident? Or…”
