Upon entering the sanatorium, Mandy spotted Liora and a middle-aged gentleman, dancing. This left Mandy feeling perplexed. She had been informed that Liora wasn’t feeling well, so why was she dancing?

“Mandy, you’re here,” Liora exclaimed with joy. “This is Wayne Perry. I fainted while taking a walk outside, and he brought me back.”

Liora appeared bashful as she said that, which tugged at Mandy’s heart.

Wayne remarked, “I won’t disrupt your mother-and-daughter chat. I’ll be on my way.”

“Take care, Wayne.”

As Mandy watched Liora and Wayne bid farewell at the entrance, she couldn’t help but rub her temples.

After a while, Liora approached Mandy and asked, “Mandy, what do you think of Wayne?”

“He seems quite scholarly,” Mandy replied.
