Agatha paused, her concern evident as she left Esther’s bedroom. Her temples throbbed, aching from the recent events.

This child truly worried her. In the past, when she was powerless and tormented by Bradley, Agatha’s concern had been palpable. But now, Esther’s inclination toward violence and even killing was deeply troubling.
