Once both children had their diapers on, Shawn sat on the sofa and placed them on his lap. He appeared unwavering and resolute as if the two playful children in his embrace didn't exist. After a few minutes, I gently removed the two children from his lap and expressed my concern. "You're still injured. Don't let them bother you."
