Frank Levett was a man who had studied law. He started his career as a corporate attorney, which allowed him to infiltrate the ranks of several companies.

One of these was Preston & Partners Group, led at the time by Lucius Palmer, who had taken his wife’s

surname.

Over time, Frank became the right–hand man of the current president. Lucius began consulting him on all major decisions, until one day, he deemed it more practical to sign over power of attorney, granting Frank control of the company.

With that authority, Frank Levett had free rein to do he pleased. When the opportunity arose, he orchestrated a scheme that pushed the Preston and Bartz families out of the group. Peter Bartz had transferred his shares to Catherine under an exclusive clause after witnessing his son’s poor management of their family business.
