Fresh out of the shower, Alexia was drying her hair. She wore an elegant red silk nightgown, refusing to believe the storm heading her way. She was confident that, just like before, Maximus wouldn’t harm her. But this time was different. She was terrified when she heard footsteps, and her blood ran cold when her door opened.
