As Marcus said his goodbyes, Valerie brought over the bassinet with the twins, listening as the children excitedly talked about their future in Hesperia. To them, moving there only meant that their adventures would never end- and Valerie knew that, to some extent, they were right.

“Mom, Ethan can live with us, right?” John asked suddenly

“What, sweetheart?”

“Yes! Ethan can live with us! That way, you can take care of us, and my sister and her dad can take care of the baby.”
