Catherine’s POV
“Report me to the Council? Who do you think the Council will believe in? A rogue, or the Lycan King?”
Blake seemed to like to see my angry look and teased, “Or do you want to go to the court and ask humans for help? Believe me, a werewolf like you who has no fixed address and no job won’t bother me in the slightest!”
I didn’t know what Blake was thinking, but I saw a hint of desire in his eyes.

I picked up a glass of ice water from the table and splashed it on him.
