Catherine's POV

I returned to the company in a daze. Everyone in the company saw me differently, because yesterday's launch was very successful. So, almost everyone was discussing me.

I forced a smile and greeted my colleagues walking over to me.

Melinda called me into the office. She looked at me with a face full of joy and said, "Cathy, what's wrong? What's bothering you?"

I showed the address to Melinda and said, "I just found out where my parents used to live. Unfortunately, it's been demolished and turned into a man-made lake."

Hearing that, she comforted me and said, "Cathy, don't worry. I'm sure you will find your parents!"

"Maybe. It's just that I have to wait. It's excruciating," I smiled bitterly.
