I was astonished. I didn't expect that he would say such a thing. I nodded slightly and stopped asking. If his choice at this moment was, in his opinion, the best decision he could make, that was good enough. Raiya and Valerie came downstairs. Valerie had given Raiya a piece of jewelry.
