After returning home, I took a hot shower and changed into my pajamas. Then, it was time for dinner.

Irvin ordered the servant to prepare a bowl of ginger soup and told me to drink it, "You were in the rain earlier. Warm yourself up."

He picked up the spoon and was ready to feed it to me, but I snatched the bowl from him and said, "I'll do it myself."

Just as I was about to take a sip, a familiar scene flashed across my mind.

In the past, someone had fed me delicately and gently...

I felt a sharp pain in my head and my hands weakened. I almost dropped the bowl, so I put it on the table.

"Are you alright?" Irvin asked, his eyes wide as he stood up from his chair in a hurry. He bent over to help me up.

I reached for my forehead. "My head hurts..."

Irvin narrowed his eyes and asked, "Did you remember something?"

"No..." I trailed off.

The pain came like a gust of wind and dissipated after a while. I let out a long sigh and looked up at Irvin as I asked, "Did you use to take care of me like this when I was sick?" Irvin was suddenly intrigued and turned my question back at me, "What do you think?"

I've forgotten everything," I reminded him. "Whatever happened in the past doesn't matter," Irvin said before blowing on the ginger soup and bringing it
