Chapter 4 Confrontation

Olympia stormed forward, her chest heaving in anger. She raised her hand high, aiming for Charmaine’s face.

But Charmaine didn’t flinch. She lifted her hand and caught Olympia’s in midair, stopping her strike.

Olympia was stunned, clearly not expecting Charmaine to dare fight back. Her usual refined, dignified demeanor faltered, revealing her rage.

“You wretch! I should’ve known! You’ve always harbored jealousy and consistently targeted Leah. You must have come to Leah’s birthday party with ill intentions. But causing trouble once wasn’t enough for you, was it? You went to such extreme lengths to carry out such a heinous deed and bring shame upon us all!”
