Such flattery would make any woman smile, and Olympia couldn’t help but bask in it. “You’re too generous,” she said, her tone full of pride. “Today, I’m here to help my daughter find the perfect dress for an important gala coming up in a few days.”

She shifted the conversation to Leah, and her pride was palpable as she spoke.

Tim, eager to please, turned his attention to Leah. “What kind of event will you be attending, Ms. Nelson? A private dinner, perhaps?”

Leah gave a gentle smile, her demeanor modest. “It’s more of a private business gathering, but I’ll be performing, so I want to make sure my outfit is just right for the occasion.”

Olympia quickly added with a slight tone of urgency, “The attendees will be quite high–profile, so it would be a tremendous help if you could assist my daughter in picking something suitable, Mr. Larson.”

The group continued chatting lightly as they made their way to the VIP room.
