Chapter 1 Happy Divorce Day
“Happy third wedding anniversary, please go home earlier. I’ve prepared a surprise for you and you’ll definitely like it.”
After sending this message, Maddy Jacobs put down her phone and went back into the kitchen. She switched off the fire on the stove
and went to cut the vegetables. She was busy but happy.
It was as if her mood was not affected by the fact that this message didn’t get any reply..
“Madam, let me help you,” the maid aside said.
“There’s no need. It’s fine, just go and do your own business.. I want to make dinner by myself for him tonight.”
“You are such a loving couple,” the maid can’t stop praising
Maddy smiled but did not reply.
Are she and Nate Levitan in love?
Instead of talking about being in love, it was better to say it was just an act.
At seven o’clock in the evening, Nate arrived home, and the maid left wisely.
Maddy had just put the dinnerware in place when the warm breath of the man behind her covered her. Her chin was twisted and her

“Isn’t that your purpose of asking me back specially ?”
Maddy explained with a soft voice, “No, today is our third wedding anniversary. I really have a gift for you.”
Nate let go of her, tidied up his slightly wrinkled shirt, and said indifferently, “The gift is not necessary. After all, your surprise
usually only makes things terrible, not joyful.”
Maddy’s lips twitched. But she didn’t refute, she just turned around and went into the kitchen.
Soon, the last dish was served.
Maddy sat opposite Nate. She poured a glass of red wine for him and then for herself.

She picked up the wine glass, “Let’s toast for celebrating our third wedding anniversary.”
Under the lighting, the man is as handsome as if he had been carved by a artist– his jawline is clear and deep, his nose is straight,
but his thin lips are slightly pursed which indicate that he wasn’t satisfied with this wedding anniversary dinner.
Maddy smiled and did not expect him to respond to her. So she just picked up the glass of red wine and drank it all alone.
After finishing her drink, she continued pouring a second glass.
One glass after another.
In the end Maddy was a little drunk. She leaned on the table and looked at the man opposite her who was indifferent all the time.

Her voice was a little trembling, “Nate, can’t you even show me a smile today?”
“What do you want me to do? Go crazy with you? Or do you want me to waste my time on this boring anniversary with you?”
“How can it be boring? How many wedding anniversaries can one las? Maybe after this, there won’t be another one.”
Nate seemed to have heard a joke. He stammered, “Will you make it the last one?”
Maddy shook the remaining liquid in the glass. Her eyes were sliglitly wet by the gentle light, “Maybe…not,”
Nate did not want to waste time here with her anymore, so lie got up and went upstairs.
Annoyed, he pulled off his tie and took off his suit. Just when he was about to undress his shirt, a pair of soft little hands wrapped
around him from his back, and an overwhelming smell of alcohol also followed.
Maddy said, “Don’t be in such hurry, I have not given you my gift yet…”
Nate turned around and put his hands in his pockets. He stared at her without saying any word.
Maddy’s cheeks were flushed. She stared at him innocently which is hard for Nate to take his eyes off her.
The Adam’s apple of Nate bobbed. Even though he didn’t want to admit it, but the woman in front of him was undoubtedly beautiful
indeed. She was pretty enough to make a man fall for lier.
Otherwise, he won’t have been set up by her at the beginning..
Under her eyes, the lips of her that were soaked by red wine were bright red.

Just when he was about to take the condom from the bedside table, Muddy spoke without any hint, “Nate, let’s get a divorce.”
The man who pressed on her paused, “What did you say?”
Even if Maddy knew that he had heard it clearly, she still repeated clearly, “Let’s get a divorce.”
Nate instantly lost all interest. He slowly stood up and said indifferently, “How much do you want?”

Maddy took out a divorce agreement from under the pillow, “Take a look. Then you can sign it if there is no any problem.”
