Chapter 380 After settling these matters, Audrey took Miles to the clinic for medicine. She

originally planned to take Miles for a complete check-up at the hospital. But Miles insisted he was fine, saying it was just minor injuries.

There was only one doctor on duty in the clinic.

Miles sat quietly in the chair as the doctor treated his wounds. His gaze, however, went through the glass and rested on Audrey beside him. He was a bit curious about why Xander seemed so afraid of Audrey.

He knew Audrey was the CEO of Rhodes Enterprises, but Xander was said to be a significant figure with influence everywhere. Why would he fear her?

As Miles considered it, his mind began to wander, and he even started to suspect that Audrey might be like characters in movies-a CEO by day and the leader of a secret organization by night.

Before long, Miles had finished his treatment. The doctor reminded him to keep the wound dry and return daily to change the dressing. Miles noted everything down.

After they walked out of the clinic, Audrey patted Miles on the shoulder and said, "Now that Nathan has transferred to another school, no one should dare to bully you anymore. But if any foolish people try, find me, and I'll help you."

Before Miles could agree, Audrey continued, "Mom was so stressed about what happened to you that she fainted. She's still in the hospital, so if anything happens, call me."
