Chapter 1939

Beau looked troubled, not knowing how to begin.

Clint noticed Beau's unease but did not think much of it. After all, coming from a prominent family in the South Territory, how could his brother possibly have come to any harm? Following his master and the elders, Clint walked through the gates of the Melton Mansion.

As he entered, he tried to recall his father's appearance. Did he have a beard? Did he wear glasses? Clint could not remember. It had been too long since he last saw his parents.

The first floor of the Melton Mansion could hardly be called a living room. It was grandly decorated and spacious enough to accommodate nearly 2,000 people. It could easily be mistaken for a luxurious banquet hall. Clint's master, Amell Casimir, who was usually stern, entered the room with a hearty laugh.
