Chapter 470

"Hurry up and grab her! I don't care what it takes-get this woman to the police station today and get Olivia out."

A group of tall, imposing bodyguards sprang into action at the order, moving toward Isadora.

Nanette's heart pounded as she watched the men close in, each step making it clear they truly meant to seize them.

She was just one woman, and Isadora was pregnant-there was no way they could fight their way out.

"Get in the car! Now, Isadora! That woman's lost her mind," Nanette shouted, urgency in her voice.

But before they could make a move, suddenly, shadows blurred across the lot— dozens of figures appearing as if conjured out of thin air.

Victor's men, the ones he'd stationed in secret to protect Isadora, emerged without a sound. Rigid and alert, they fanned out to form a protective wall in front of Isadora and Nanette.

The two groups of bodyguards squared off, tension crackling in the air.

But it was obvious from the start-Isadora's team, nearly ten strong, effortlessly outnumbered Andrina's four flustered men.

Isadora met Andrina's eyes, her voice icy. "If you keep this up, I won't hesitate to make sure you and your daughter both get to experience a night at the station."

On the drive home, Nanette gripped the wheel, glancing sideways in disbelief. "When did you get bodyguards, Isadora? And since when did you have an entire football team following you around?"

Isadora pressed her hand to her forehead, watching the city lights flicker past outside.
